In celebration of PLN Batam’s 23rd anniversary on October 3rd, and the 78th National Electricity Day on October 27th, 2023, PLN Batam has launched a month-long promotional discount for increased power capacity.

Marking significant milestones, PLN Batam offers its customers a golden opportunity to upgrade their electrical capacity at a discounted rate throughout October.

From October 1st to 31st, customers can avail of an upgrade in power capacity at a substantially lower price, only having to pay an installation charge of IDR 78,000 plus an adjustment fee.

This special price applies to connection fees for increasing power services to consumers with low voltage, ranging from 450 VA up to 2,200 VA for household tariffs. Similarly, for business tariffs, the offer is valid for power upgrades ranging from 450 VA to a substantial 7,700 VA.

For medium-voltage customers shifting to regular flexy and B-3/TM regular services, there’s a whopping 50% discount on connection fees.

Breaking down the savings, Hamidi Hamid, the Corporate Secretary of PT PLN Batam, illustrated that an upgrade from 900 VA to 2,200 VA, which normally costs IDR 1,826,500, will only amount to IDR 344,500 under this promotion.

To avail of this promotion, PLN Batam customers simply need to visit their nearest service office. Once the payment is confirmed, the local PLN unit will proceed with the requested power upgrade.
