BP Batam Hospital (RSBP) takes another pioneering step to refine its service, introducing a swift medication delivery scheme in collaboration with GrabExpress.
To ensure the community experiences the best from healthcare, BP Batam Hospital has constantly been evolving its service offerings. Their recent collaboration with Grab is a testament to their commitment towards improving patient convenience.
Seamless Service Upgrade: On Thursday (31/8/2023), at the BP Batam Hospital’s A building pharmacy installation, the “Order Medicine with GrabExpress” service was officially launched, marked by a ribbon-cutting event. The director of BP Batam Hospital, Dr. Afdhalun A. Hakim, Sp.JP(K), FIHA, FasCC and Grab’s Business Development Lead for Emerging Sumatera, Muhammad Zaki Nasution, jointly initiated the service.
Feedback-driven Improvement:
Expressing the hospital’s ongoing dedication to service refinement, Dr. Afdhalun mentioned their sustained efforts to mend identified service gaps. Their endeavors have been rewarded with the highest satisfaction scores in BP Batam’s recent public surveys.
Ease of Access:
With the new GrabExpress feature, patients, whether general public or BPJS beneficiaries, won’t face lengthy waits or queues for medication pickup anymore. Instead, they can enjoy doorstep delivery, making healthcare access more efficient and comfortable.
Choice is King:
Patients have the option but aren’t obligated to use GrabExpress. It’s available as a quick, streamlined, and convenient delivery alternative to the traditional method.
Operational Procedure:
Patients consult doctors, get prescriptions, hand them to the Grab booth officers at RSBP, fill a form, make delivery payments, and the medication processes start. Once ready, Grab drivers collect the medicines after verifying details with the pharmacist and ensure timely delivery to the patient’s specified address.
This new initiative not only emphasizes the progressive steps BP Batam Hospital is taking for its local residents but also showcases its readiness to cater to international patients, including Singaporeans. With efficient systems like these, cross-border medical tourism might see a positive push.
BP Batam Hospital and GrabExpress have collaborated to introduce the “Order Medicine with GrabExpress” service, ensuring patients receive their medication without long waits or queues. This initiative marks a significant move to boost healthcare access and convenience for both local and international patients.
