Police detain two suspects after fatal accident involving farming tool on moving motorcycle

An 18-year-old vocational college student in Perak died after his neck was slashed by a long-handled sickle carried by a man riding another motorcycle during a road incident.

Student Killed in Roadside Incident
Adham Faisal, an 18-year-old vocational college student, died after sustaining severe neck injuries during an incident involving two motorcycles in Perak.

The attack occurred on March 9, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene due to the seriousness of the wound.

Farming Tool Believed to Have Caused Injury
Police said preliminary investigations indicate the victim’s motorcycle was travelling close to another motorcycle.

A long-handled sickle carried by the other rider is believed to have struck the victim’s neck, causing him to lose control and fall.

Schoolmate Injured in Incident
A 17-year-old schoolmate riding with the victim was also injured during the incident.

The teenager sustained injuries to his hand and is currently receiving medical treatment.

Two Suspects Detained by Police
Authorities have detained two foreign men aged 39 and 52 to assist with the investigation.

Police also seized a sickle and a motorcycle believed to be connected to the case.

Investigation Ongoing
The case is being investigated as causing death by negligence.

If convicted, offenders could face a prison sentence of up to 30 years along with a possible fine under Malaysian law.
