What started as a regular evening at Food Court A2 quickly escalated into a terrifying brawl. According to eyewitnesses, the victim, identified as F, arrived at the food court to meet friends. At around 9:45 PM WIB, he noticed his friend being surrounded by an unidentified group of men. Concerned, he approached the group and told them to calm down and stop being aggressive.
Instead of defusing the situation, one of the men yelled at F aggressively, shouting, “Woy, kau sini!” (Hey, come here!). Before he could react, the group launched a brutal attack.
Brutal Beating Captured on Video
The attackers punched and kicked the victim repeatedly, before escalating their violence further. Chairs and glass bottles were used as weapons, and the victim sustained multiple injuries to his head, neck, back, hands, and legs. Video footage of the attack quickly went viral, showing the sheer brutality of the scene as tables and drinks were overturned while onlookers screamed in terror.
Many patrons fled the scene to avoid getting caught in the violence, while others attempted to intervene but were unable to stop the attack.
Victim in Critical Condition After the Attack

Following the brutal assault, the victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. Medical reports indicate that he suffered deep wounds and bruises across his body, particularly on his head, neck, and back. His right knee was severely swollen, likely from repeated blows, and he sustained multiple lacerations from broken glass bottles.
Doctors treating the victim have confirmed that his condition remains unstable due to the severity of head trauma and blood loss. His family has expressed deep concern, urging authorities to ensure that the perpetrators face justice.
Suspects Detained as Police Investigate Further

Authorities acted swiftly, arresting two men identified as YNW and BL, who are believed to be the main aggressors in the attack. The two suspects were taken into custody on March 1, 2025, for further interrogation.
According to Lubuk Baja Police Chief Kompol Rangga Primazada, initial investigations indicate that the attack was not random but may have stemmed from an earlier dispute. The suspects are currently undergoing questioning, and police are looking for additional individuals who were involved in the assault.
Kanit Reskrim Polsek Lubuk Baja Iptu Noval Adimas Ardianto stated, “We have two individuals in custody and are investigating whether this attack was premeditated. More arrests could follow.”
