Minion Land, the highly anticipated new zone at Universal Studios Singapore (USS), will officially open its doors on February 14, 2025. The themed land promises visitors an immersive experience with exciting rides, interactive shows, exclusive merchandise, and Minion-inspired dining options.
Universal Studios Singapore, in partnership with Universal Creative and Illumination, will unveil Minion Land as part of Resorts World Sentosa’s attractions. The land replaces the former Madagascar zone and will be a hub of entertainment featuring beloved characters from the Despicable Me and Minions franchises.
Themed Dining at Minion Land
Minion Land offers visitors a chance to enjoy Minion-themed meals at the Super Hungry Food Stand, inspired by the iconic snack stand in Despicable Me. Signature dishes include Japanese curry chicken karaage rice shaped like a Minion, a vegan burger, and a rainbow cheesecake inspired by Fluffy the Unicorn.
The Minion Marketplace features three immersive retail environments, offering exclusive collectibles and themed merchandise. Limited-edition items, including Super Silly Space Killer figures and the full Super Silly Fun Land Collection, will launch on February 14, spanning apparel, homeware, and souvenirs.
Entertaining Shows and Meet-and-Greets
Fans can enjoy the Minute of Minion Mayhem show featuring Minions and Gru’s adopted daughters—Margo, Edith, and Agnes—complete with fart guns and dance performances. Visitors will also have opportunities to meet Gru, Lucy, and other characters in the themed land.
Minion Land introduces rides like the Buggie Boogie, a dance party-themed carousel, and Silly Swirly. Guests can also experience the immersive Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a motion-simulator 3D ride with hyper-realistic projections.

Construction for Minion Land began in the second quarter of 2022, replacing the Madagascar zone. Universal Creative and Illumination collaborated with Resorts World Sentosa to create this attraction, ensuring it meets global theme park standards.
