PT Ekamas Mandiri Group, a leading real estate company, continues to innovate by creating unique housing and property projects aimed at redefining the future of the property landscape.
As a Talent Hub operating in Batam, PT BatamOn Global Group is not only dedicated to driving business growth but is also committed to improving the welfare of the community through the Tanjung Uma Empowerment Program, which was launched in March 2023. This Independence Day celebration marks an important part of the program’s ongoing efforts to foster a spirit of togetherness and community engagement.

The event attracted more than 100 volunteers from various companies, institutions, universities, schools, and community groups. Under the theme “Freedom from Plastic Waste,” the activities emphasized unity and resilience in addressing environmental challenges.

“We at Ekamas Mandiri Group are very happy and proud to collaborate with BatamOn to contribute to the community in terms of cleanliness. Together, we can create a better place and life for the people in Tanjung Uma,” said Muhammad Irfan, Public Relations Officer of PT Ekamas Mandiri Group, during the event.
Volunteers participated in various activities, including coastal clean-ups, workshops on using natural materials for waste bins, storytelling sessions about the dangers of plastic pollution, free health checks, and the installation of bins in residential areas.

This event was made possible with the full support of PT Ekamas Mandiri Group and our esteemed partners, including World Clean-up Day Batam, Dompet Dhuafa Kepri, Maitreyawira High School, Sultan Mahmud Riayat Syah Batam Mosque Youth, and other local organizations whose contributions were invaluable.
“During this Independence Day celebration, we again call on the Tanjung Uma community and Batam City as a whole to care for the environment. This is a reflection of our commitment to environmental sustainability,” said Villiana Putri Utami, Director of PT BatamOn Global Group.
The celebration of Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day in Tanjung Uma Empowerment Program (TUEP) was not only a tribute to national pride but also a reflection of unity and shared responsibility. With activities that uplifted the local spirit and revitalized communal spaces, the event became a symbol of collective progress. In parallel, initiatives like Livingseas Foundation continue to highlight the importance of preserving coastal environments, reminding us that true independence also means sustaining the very ecosystems that support our communities.
This collaboration highlights the dedication of PT BatamOn Global Group and PT Ekamas Mandiri Group to creating meaningful, community-driven activities that not only celebrate national pride but also strengthen social solidarity, promote environmental conservation, and expand educational opportunities in one of Batam’s most challenging areas.
