Both countries expressed concerns about the minimal progress in implementing the Five-Point Consensus aimed at resolving the crisis in Myanmar, noting a lack of commitment from the military junta.

Minister Marsudi criticized proposed Israeli legislation that could label UNRWA, a UN agency, as a terrorist organization. This move is seen as unacceptable by Indonesia and undermines the agency’s efforts to support Palestinian refugees.

Indonesia welcomed the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion on Israeli activities in Palestinian territories, urging the UN General Assembly and Security Council to follow through on these recommendations.
