The task force will include representatives from the police, the Ministry of Industry, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), leveraging their expertise to curb illegal activities.
The Trade Ministry has sought the backing of the Attorney General to enforce legal measures against those found importing goods illegally.
The task force will concentrate on seven critical commodities including textiles, electronics, and cosmetics which are most affected by illegal imports.
