In a bid to promote a healthy lifestyle and bolster sport tourism in Batam, Secretary of Batam, Jefridin, M.Pd., joined the cycling community at the Opus Bay Marketing Gallery, Waterfront City Marina Sekupang, on Sunday, May 5, 2024. The event brought together cycling enthusiasts from across Batam.
The event emphasized Batam’s growing reputation as a hub for sport tourism and highlighted upcoming developments in the Opus Bay area. Among these is a new mosque funded by the Saudi Arabian government, which will be built on a 15-hectare plot and include a museum and educational facilities.
