The cabins were launched on March 20, 2024, and tickets can be purchased at Mount Faber and Sentosa Singapore Cable Car stations on the day of the journey. Ticket holders of the Mount Faber line and Sky Pass have the option to upgrade to a SkyOrb cabin for a one-way segment of their round-trip journey.

Upgrade costs are set at USD 15 (approximately SGD 20) per person on weekdays and USD 20 (approximately SGD 27) on weekends and public holidays, making it an accessible luxury for many.
