Since 2016, Muhammad Rudi has dedicated special attention to infrastructure development, especially Batam’s main roads, predicting the completion by 2029. This infrastructure is expected to enhance comfort for visitors and residents alike, making Batam an increasingly attractive destination for tourism and investment.

The completion of key road projects, such as Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, is set to significantly improve access within the city, contributing to Batam’s appeal as a modern and progressive city.

The upcoming construction of Terminal 2 at Hang Nadim International Airport aims to support increased mobility to and from Batam, facilitating both local and international tourist influx.

Beyond transportation, efforts are underway to beautify major thoroughfares with golden teak trees. The construction of pivotal roundabouts is also enhancing Batam’s urban landscape.

Rudi also highlights the development of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Health in Sekupang, which includes advanced hospital facilities. Plans are also in place for an international-standard health university by Dubai’s Thumbay Medicity.
