Hartojo highlighted the surge in UMKM participation in the Imlek Bazaar, growing from 200 stalls in 2023 to 300 in 2024, indicating a thriving local business environment due to the revitalization efforts.
The Governor of Kepri, Ansar Ahmad, expressed pride in the bazaar’s success, seeing it as a symbol of unity and moderation in Tanjungpinang. The diverse participation of UMKM and visitors from various ethnicities, customs, and tribes reflects the region’s inclusive growth.
