Indonesian SMEs Go Global: Showcasing 12 Products in the Netherlands

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) / Pelindo has taken a significant step in promoting Indonesian SMEs on the international stage, showcasing 12 top UMKM products at the Vakantiebeurs 2024 in the Netherlands.

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) is spearheading the promotion of Indonesian UMKM products and Desa Wisata at one of the world’s largest travel trade fairs, Vakantiebeurs 2024, in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

12 exceptional UMKM products from Pelindo’s nurtured groups are introduced at the Vakantiebeurs 2024, a prominent travel and trade fair attended by around 65,000 visitors worldwide.

The event highlights Desa Wisata Penglipuran, a village under Pelindo’s patronage that gained recognition as one of the world’s top 54 tourism villages by UNWTO in 2023.

Pelindo’s showcased UMKM products include diverse crafts, food, and beverages, featuring items such as Baline Chocolate, Agradaya herbal drinks, and Sundanika’s coffee packaging.

Other crafts highlighted are Nurvan Kreatif bags, Epeni Gallery silk, Namira Ecoprint clothing, Nara Beads pearl jewelry, Giatja Latucip’s miniature phinisi boats, plus accessories from Manika and Maharani, among others.

The effort aligns with Pelindo’s Desa Image Program and Gedor Export Program, aiming to expand the UMKM market internationally and promote Indonesian culture and tourism.
