PT Bandara Internasional Batam (BIB) unveils a new international charter flight route between Batam and China, marking a significant step in enhancing connectivity and boosting tourism and trade.
PT Bandara Internasional Batam (BIB), managing the Hang Nadim International Airport, has introduced a new charter flight route connecting Batam and China. This strategic move is aimed at opening up new business and investment opportunities in sectors like tourism, trade, and industry.
The international flight service, commencing on January 20, 2024, will be operated by Citilink Indonesia. The route will directly connect Batam with Kunming, China.

BIB’s Director General Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah states that significant operational preparations and facility upgrades are underway to ensure smooth inauguration and ongoing service, including improvements in international boarding gates and immigration checks.
