Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects in Batam, including the development of Hang Nadim International Airport and main roadways. These projects are pivotal for Batam’s growth and regional connectivity.
The expansion of Batuampar Port was also a focal point, signifying Batam’s ambition to become a key maritime hub in the region. The port’s development is crucial for enhancing trade and logistics capabilities.
Mayor Rudi expressed optimism that all infrastructure projects, including the airport and port expansions, will be completed by 2029 or 2030, marking a significant milestone in Batam’s development journey.
