Batam is set to host the 12th National Folding Bike Jamboree (Jamselinas) on November 11, 2023, with 3,000 participants from across Indonesia, highlighting the city’s modernity and cycling-friendly infrastructure.

The Batam Authority Head and Mayor, Muhammad Rudi, has announced the city’s readiness in terms of human resources and facilities to successfully host Jamselinas XII, enhancing Batam’s reputation as a modern and bicycle-friendly city.

The event, spanning four days from November 9-12, 2023, includes an expo at Mega Mall, welcome and gala dinners, and a 31-kilometer cycling route from Engku Putri Square to Nuvasa Bay Nongsa.

Jamselinas XII will feature 135 international cyclists from neighboring countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand, fostering regional camaraderie.
