The government deployed Tagana (Disaster Preparedness Cadets) to assist with evacuation and search efforts. Coordination with local agencies, including the Batam Disaster Management Agency and emergency services, ensured a prompt response to the disaster.

Batam City is utilizing its emergency fund to assist affected residents. Repairs to damaged infrastructure, including homes and roads, are prioritized. Local officials conducted inspections to assess damage severity and prepare targeted assistance plans.

Residents from the affected Blok S neighborhood were evacuated to safer areas to prevent further casualties. Local officials are expediting administrative requirements to ensure timely delivery of support.
