Around 22,000 officers affected under periodic public service review
Eligible civil servants in Singapore will see salary increases of between 2 and 9 per cent from Aug 1, 2026, following a periodic review by the Public Service Division (PSD).
22,000 Officers To Benefit
The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Feb 20, 2026, that around 22,000 eligible officers will receive salary adjustments.
The changes will take effect from Aug 1, 2026.
The revision applies to officers on the Management Executive Scheme, Technical Support Scheme, Management Support Scheme, Corporate Support Scheme, Operations Support Scheme and related schemes.
Adjustment Ranges From 2% To 9%
Salary increases will range between 2 and 9 per cent, depending on scheme and grade.
According to the statement, the adjustment is part of a regular review process to ensure that public service pay broadly keeps pace with market movements.
The Government reiterated that salaries are calibrated to keep pace with, but not lead, the market.
Roles Across Policy And Operations
Officers covered under the affected schemes perform a wide range of functions across ministries and agencies.
These include policy and planning, administration, corporate functions and operational roles.
The revision aims to ensure the public sector remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
Last Revision Was In 2022
The PSD last revised salaries for these schemes in 2022.
Since then, salary levels in the broader job market have risen, prompting the latest review.
