Starting September 1, all travelers must use the All Indonesia app for entry.

Indonesia has launched a new digital entry system requiring travelers, including Singaporeans, to complete arrival declarations via the All Indonesia app. The move aims to streamline immigration, customs, and health checks across major airports and seaports.

Digital Shift For Entry Procedures

From September 1, 2025, Indonesia’s Directorate-General of Immigration officially requires travelers entering through selected airports and ports to use the All Indonesia mobile app. The directive covers arrivals at Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Jakarta), Juanda Airport (Surabaya), I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali), and Batam international ports.

Integrated Declaration System

Previously, visitors needed to complete the Satu Sehat Health Pass and the Electronic Customs Declaration separately. The new app unifies immigration, customs, health, and quarantine forms into one platform. Authorities say this will ensure a “faster, easier, and safer” travel experience for both Indonesians and foreign tourists.

Multilingual And Free To Use

The All Indonesia app is available in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Mandarin, catering to international visitors. Travelers can complete their digital form up to three days before arrival, at no cost. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Batam’s Strategic Role

The inclusion of Batam is especially significant for Singaporeans, as the island remains one of the most popular weekend destinations due to its proximity. With this requirement, even short leisure trips now require digital pre-arrival preparation.

Expansion Plan Across Borders

While the rollout currently applies to four entry points, the Directorate-General of Immigration confirmed the system will be expanded to all international airports, ports, and border crossings in Indonesia. This phased implementation reflects the government’s broader digital transformation agenda.

Visa-Free Entry Still Applies

Despite the new digital formality, Singaporeans visiting Indonesia for up to 30 days remain visa-free. The change only affects the entry declaration process, not existing visa exemptions.

Indonesia’s adoption of the All Indonesia app signals a broader shift toward fully digitalized border management. For Singaporeans, especially those frequently visiting Batam and Bali, this new requirement ensures smoother but more structured entry. The system’s expansion nationwide highlights Indonesia’s commitment to streamlining travel while enhancing border security and efficiency.
