New collaboration aims to provide seamless mobility, exclusive deals, and tourism promotions
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Gojek have officially announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the travel experience for Indonesian visitors in Singapore. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Jakarta on January 23, 2025, seeks to provide seamless mobility solutions, exclusive promotions, and curated experiences to encourage Indonesian tourists to explore beyond Singapore’s usual hotspots.
Gojek, Indonesia’s leading ride-hailing platform, has been operating in Singapore since 2018 and is now further expanding its role in the tourism sector through this collaboration with STB. The initiative aims to provide Indonesian tourists with affordable and convenient transportation while introducing them to lesser-known attractions across the island.
STB’s Assistant Chief Executive, Juliana Kua, emphasized that while Indonesian visitors are already familiar with Singapore, the partnership will highlight new attractions and experiences, such as Katong and Joo Chiat’s heritage charm, Mandai’s lush nature reserves, and Changi’s vibrant lifestyle hubs.
Gojek’s Chief Operating Officer, Shobhit Singhal, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that the ride-hailing giant is committed to making travel easier and more enjoyable for Indonesian tourists through technology-driven mobility solutions.
Expanding Access to Lesser-Known Attractions
The collaboration encourages Indonesian tourists to venture beyond the city center and explore unique neighborhoods such as Katong, Joo Chiat, and Mandai, as well as eco-friendly attractions. By leveraging Gojek’s transportation services, visitors will have an easier, safer, and more efficient way to discover new parts of Singapore.

Special Promotions and Ride Discounts
As part of the initiative, Gojek will introduce exclusive ride-hailing promotions for Indonesian travelers. These include discounted fares for airport transfers using promotional codes GOBANDARA and GOAIRPORT, making it more convenient for visitors to travel between Changi Airport and their accommodations.
Premium Ride Options for Travelers
Indonesian visitors in Singapore can choose from four different ride options—GoCar (standard), GoCar XL (larger groups), GoCar Comfort (enhanced comfort), and GoCar Luxe (premium service)—catering to different budgets and preferences.
Strengthening Business and Tourism Connectivity
The partnership reflects a broader effort to deepen Indonesia-Singapore tourism ties while ensuring that the growing number of Indonesian visitors has access to high-quality mobility services. According to STB’s data, the increasing number of Indonesian tourists highlights the need for seamless, efficient, and well-integrated transportation networks.
Gojek’s Commitment to Supporting Indonesian Tourists
Beyond its partnership with STB, Gojek continues to work with key tourism stakeholders in Indonesia and Singapore to provide better travel experiences. The company is actively integrating technology to improve transport accessibility, offer tailored travel experiences, and introduce exclusive deals for Indonesian users visiting Singapore.
This partnership is expected to benefit not only Indonesian tourists but also the broader Singapore tourism ecosystem. By promoting seamless travel solutions and local exploration, the initiative aligns with Singapore’s vision of a smart, connected, and sustainable tourism sector.
The increased focus on exploring off-the-beaten-path attractions will diversify the tourist experience in Singapore. Businesses within the hospitality, retail, and F&B industries are also expected to benefit from higher foot traffic in emerging tourist districts.
