Batam’s Secretary, Jefridin, officially opened the Krishna Holi Colour Festival 2024 at Dataran Engku Putri Batam Centre on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

The festival, attended by over 900 participants, included local communities, international tourists, and various stakeholders. It featured exciting activities like yoga and the vibrant Colour Throwing Event.

Jefridin, representing Batam’s Mayor Muhammad Rudi, highlighted the Krishna Holi Colour Festival 2024 as part of Batam City’s initiative to develop tourism through distinctive Indian culture.

He emphasized that the festival aligns with the city’s rapid development under Mayor Rudi’s leadership. “This event is a show of support for the development efforts of Batam City,” he said.

Jefridin praised the festival, saying, “This exceptional event greatly enhances the tourism sector in Batam and supports the development guided by Mayor Muhammad Rudi.”
