The Indonesian Minister of Communication and Informatics, Budi Arie Setiadi, recently announced the upcoming launch of “Indonesia AI Nation,” a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence Development Center in Solo, Central Java. This ambitious project, backed by a collaborative investment worth $200 million (approximately SGD 268 million), involves major tech players Nvidia and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH).

“Indonesia AI Nation” represents a monumental step in Indonesia’s ICT sector, aiming to bolster the country’s position in the digital economy through the development of AI technologies. Scheduled to be established within Solo Techno Park, this initiative highlights Indonesia’s commitment to nurturing digital talent and fostering innovation.
