Sunindo Pratama Tbk (SUNI) embarks on a significant venture, investing Rp432 billion (approximately SGD 36.72 Million) in constructing a new plant in Batam for its subsidiary, PT Rainbow Tubulars Manufacture (RTM). The move reflects SUNI’s strategic growth plans and commitment to meeting industry demands.

The new factory, spanning 50,793 square meters, will facilitate the production of seamless pipes and OCTG tubing, crucial assets for SUNI’s operations. The investment encompasses land acquisition, construction, and procurement of production machinery.

The expanded facility will double SUNI’s production capacity to 60,000 tons per year, catering to domestic and international markets, potentially reaching 70,000 tons annually.

The investment aligns with SUNI’s goal to diversify its product range and expand market share, especially in the oil and gas sector, both domestically and abroad.

SUNI demonstrates its commitment to environmental responsibility by integrating solar panels on the factory rooftop, aimed at generating renewable energy and reducing carbon footprint.
